Role Summary

Owns the lifecycle of assigned offers spanning payments, fee administration, and compliance services. Acts as the accountable offer lead responsible for operational integrity, vendor coordination, regulatory readiness, and internal enablement. Executes strategy set by senior leaders while independently driving cross-functional delivery and issue resolution.

Responsibilities
Offer Ownership:

  • Owns assigned offers from intake through steady-state operations, including service design, operational readiness, controls, and ongoing optimization.
  • Serves as the primary point of accountability for offer health, risk management, and roadmap alignment.
  • Maintains clear ownership of procedures, decision frameworks, and escalation paths.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Leadership:

  • Coordinates across Product, Client Services, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Manages third-party relationships, including service expectations, deliverables, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Drives vendor accountability and escalates risks to timelines or service quality.

Operational Governance, Risk & Compliance:

  • Establishes and maintains procedures, controls, and documentation supporting recurring processes and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversees exception handling, reconciliation activities, and issue remediation.
  • Partners with Compliance and Legal to support regulatory services, filings, disclosures, and plan documentation.

External Enablement & Continuous Improvement:

  • Supports RFP, sales, advisor, and relationship teams with accurate offer positioning and operational guidance.
  • Translates complex operational and regulatory topics into clear internal and external materials.
  • Leads vendor transitions and process improvements; identifies opportunities for automation and simplification.
  • Defines and tracks indicators of offer health, operational stability, and client impact; surfaces risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensures institutional knowledge is documented and transferable.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, offer management, operations leadership, or platform governance within financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.

Preferred:

  • Experience within a retirement recordkeeping environment, including familiarity with plan operations, fee structures, regulatory services, and third-party integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the end-to-end lifecycle of complex offers, including business case development, operational readiness, performance measurement, and ongoing optimization.
  • Strong background in market assessment, competitive analysis, and KPI-driven decision making, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$96,500.00 - $164,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$105,000.00 - $180,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
