Your role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to:

· design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
· apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
· ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
. contribute to frequent releases that improve our digital products and technology services
· build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
· understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
· share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your team

In our Agile@UBS working model, streams, crews are aligned to large products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be part of the Managing Investment Stream and Alternative crew and pods in Pune and working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe.

Your expertise

• strong 12+ experience on Core Java, Spring boot, Microservices, Rest APIs, SQL, RDBMS, Kafka
• exposure on Cloud integration (Azure Preferably) and Container services along with understanding of Agile based execution processes
• working knowledge in tools such as JIRA, GitLab/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Confluence, etc.
• experience with continuous delivery and deployment pipelines in GitLab and build tools such as Maven and Gradle
• exposure to Apache/Tomcat, WebSphere on UNIX/Linux environment
• basic knowledge on Shell & Perl/Python Scripting
• strong experience in Junit and any of the testing toolsets like SoapUI, LoadUI, Swagger
