Your role

• Understand business needs, facilitate and develop process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support the implementation
• Manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, UAT, and maintenance
• Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans from business requirements

Your team

Cloud-based reference data platform, a new Finance Risk and Data Analytics capability, that will provide data mastering and distribution capabilities for various reference data domains including Instruments, Ratings, Book Data, Product Taxonomy, Legal Entity, Industries, Countries, Currencies, etc.
As a service, we provide cleansing, enriching, and data quality in a centralized place and offer it to different systems, applications, or users, irrespective of where they are in the organization, or on the network.
As a Java Developer with API development knowledge within the exciting, new Finance Risk & Data Analytics capability, you will be building Microservices to solve some of the organization's toughest problems and deliver significant business value. By joining us you will be helping to shape the Reference Data Mastering and Distribution architecture and technology stack.

Your expertise

• Strong programming experience in Java
• Expert in Spring (Boot, Cloud, Security, Azure)
• Working experience in building REST API
• Experience in building event driven microservices, reactive architecture
• In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design
• Experience in distributed systems and Cloud environment for e.g. Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP
• Experience with continuous delivery and deployment pipelines (Team city, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient at working with large and complex codebases (GitHub, GitFlow, Fork/Pull Model)
• Technologies: Linux, shell /PowerShell scripting, build tools (Maven/Gradle/SBT)
