We’re looking for Senior Test Automation to:
- work as part of a passionate agile project team to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the testing process from requirements definition through to delivery
- apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
- ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
- research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
- proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generate, propose and implement innovative solutions to solve them
- be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results.
- liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations , comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
- coordinate with development, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
- mentor team members on test automation, lead the interview process to expand the test automation team
- share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in Principal Flow Trading sector and be a part of global Execution services technology team in Krakow. We are a fast paced, highly motivated, delivery focused and friendly team, present in 8 cities in 6 countries covering US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Our job is to create and deliver innovative solutions for business problems whilst maintaining a complex and multifaceted platform.

Your expertise

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ,and previously held an automation testing role, for ideally 6+ years preferably within the finance sector
- hands on experience on developing UI/API test automation using the following technologies: Java, Selenium, Rest API testing, TestNG, Junit,Cucumber, Gerkhin, Maven,Gradle and GitLab
- Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Unix, KDB, Sybase working experience
- proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, maintainability and portability
- hands experience on Quality Assurance aspects, analyzing business requirements, designing and developing test cases and automation solutions; testing and troubleshooting applications; thorough understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
- working experience on various CI/CD tools, DevOps, Cloud would be beneficial
- strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing, plus will be experience in managing the team
- another big plus is experience in working with KDB, working with producing queries
