Your role

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks for our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of automation tools, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality and performance of our products.

Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks that are scalable, reusable, and robust.
• analyze, design, and write test cases based on the requirements
• design and develop test automation scripts based on our test automation framework
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E2E automation and develop sustainable solutions
• continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize testing, integration and delivery efficiency
• identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them

You’ll be working in the KeyLink team in Pune. Our role is to provide cutting edge eBanking services to our professional wholesale clients globally. The application is currently in a phase of renewal and your skills are vital to the strategic direction and success of the future platform. The application is used globally both internally and externally 24/7 with an approximate throughput of USD 600bn per month.

As an experience test automation engineer you'll be part of our Agile team in Pune and working closely with the developers and likeminded test engineers. We provide a modern working environment and progressive terms of employment.

Your expertise

• proven track record as an IT Test Automation Engineer
• 12+ years of professional experience with test automation
• strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, Cucumber, Maven, Git, GitLab pipeline, Selenium
• experience working with cross-functional agile teams
• ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently
• analytical and problem-solving skills to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
• knowledge of Agile methodologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery
• positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
• strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• review code and scripts written by peers to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• continuously refine and improve test automation scripts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• maintain detailed documentation of test scripts, frameworks, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing
