Do you know SAP ABAP on HANA like the back of your hand?

We’re looking for an Senior SAP Developer for SAP Competence center in Mumbai or Pune who:

• can manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, can build & maintain SAP applications leveraging latest SAP technology offerings including HANA & SAP Business Technology platform
• is proficient in developing software components following SDLC as well as solution definition
• can perform unit and integration tests of software components for integration into larger subsystems, in accordance with the project's adopted standards
• can apply standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC (code repository handling, code inspection, penetration-avoidance, etc.)
• has excellent collaboration/coaching skills particularly for colleagues in more junior roles
• can ensure that produced code/ system/ service is secure, with good performance, stable, operational and consistent before handover to Software Component Managers
• quickly learn on latest technology skills

You’ll be joining a growing Finance IT team. You’ll be working in Mumbai or Pune.
You will be part of global team driving innovations and participating in the SAP S/4 HANA and Cloud integration programs.

Your expertise

• proven experience in SAP ABAP on HANA in multiple implementation projects, overall technology experience of 12+ years and of 10+ years in SAP
• firm grasp of HANA Code push down Techniques like Core Data services, AMDP, Table functions & DB procedures and frontend technologies Fiori/UI5
• previous experience in RestFul ABAP programming, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite, Event mesh and any other BTP service is an advantage.
• ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• experience in working within Agile/Global teams
• an understanding of what it takes to run successful projects in financial services
• aptitude for digitization and technology
• a pragmatic "can do" attitude
