Your role
Are you a driven, ambitious individual? Are you a problem-solver? Are you skilled at understanding, developing and communicating complex financial market concepts?
You Will:
• Manage a transaction through the entire lifecycle: idea generation, modelling, marketing, pricing, assessing operational complexities, pitching, working with internal and external counsel to draft legal documentation, obtaining internal approvals and final execution.
• Develop an understanding of the various vehicles available to structure and execute transactions and work with other structuring teams to combine existing capabilities to build institutional solutions.
• Be able to assess the various economic, legal, regulatory, capital, tax and accounting considerations which underpin the product requirements of our clients.
• Foster a very close and strong relationship with trading to develop solutions which can be manageable from both a risk and an operational perspective.
• Work with sales and structuring colleagues to develop client pitches, with a particular focus on articulating / presenting complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Your team
• The Solutions Structuring team is an entrepreneurial team focusing on the development, marketing and execution of investment and hedging solutions for asset managers, pension funds and insurance companies.
• A particular focus of the team is on complex solutions to meet the needs of sophisticated institutional clients across Europe - in particular savings and retirement products.
• The team is part of Global Markets and is based in Paris.
Your expertise
• Strong knowledge in pricing and/or solution driven products, based on several years of sales, trading or structuring experience.
• Experience in financial markets and derivatives, with knowledge of equity and fund derivatives.
• An understanding of institutional clients and of savings and retirement markets across Europe.
• Ability to establish interactions with clients and originate transactions.
• Versatility is key as you will be required to work across a number of disciplines: product development, pricing, execution, pitching/marketing, modelling and automation, legal documentation drafting.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, proactive, team player, energetic, rigorous.
• Interested in developing a career in structuring.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in another European language is an advantage.
