Your role

The Client & Trade Support Specialist reports to the Client & Trade – Team Lead. In order to be successful in the role, it is required to the following:

 Trade lifecycle management from confirmation to settlement on Cash Equity & Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives and Structured Products.
 Coordinate the operational workflow with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth trade processing and excellent client experience.
 Monitor, notify and support our clients about product lifecycle events.
 Assist the Front Office on their ad-hoc requests (trade mapping, account opening, claims…).
 Managing the relationship of highly complex Institutional clients.
 Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and strengthen the relationship.
 Point of contact for cross-product client escalations, coordinating remediation and responses where appropriate.
 Identify and improve automation opportunities.
 Participate in Client Broker Reviews to ensure a high level of service quality and client satisfaction.

Your team

The Client & Trade Support Specialist sits within ESE IB Operations and supports the Client & Trade Support Team Lead and Head of IB Operation in ensuring UBS ESE related client and trade activities are being monitored and processed in a timely manner.

The Client & Trade Support Specialist is responsible for the cross-product best-in-class client service focusing on the overall interaction with UBS Europe SE’s Institutional clients ensuring smooth trade processing on Cash Equity & Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives and Structured Products across EMEA, APAC, and the US Markets.

On top of that the Client & Trade Support Specialist will act as a relationship manager towards our clients building strong relationships internally and externally, driving efficiency and positive experience with key clients and internal stakeholders. Key to the function is the ability to partner across a wide variety of internal teams to deliver on behalf of the team, the business and the client. It is required to have good communication skills, be solution oriented, and drive for best-in-class client service within the financial services industry.

Your expertise

Essential:
 French language (written/spoken) required, additional languages a plus
 Working knowledge in a similar role
 Product knowledge in Equities, Bonds, Structured Products, Derivatives
 Proven detailed knowledge about securities settlement
 Good communication and relationship building skills
 Delivery focus in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to work with a range of stakeholders

Desirable:
 Client management experience and client service competencies.
 Fluent in written and spoken English, additional language a plus (such as German, Spanish or Italian)
 Proficient in Excel and other MS applications to support data analysis techniques
 General ability to pick up information quickly and turn around deliverables under pressure
 Continuous improvement focus/ ability to apply to processes
