Your role

We’re looking for an Integrated Middle Office Specialist to:
•manage under stress to deliver the best-in-class trade support across major APAC markets, and be able to develop into a market expert in regulated markets
•understand the F2B operational risks and apply this knowledge to ensure the integrity of our trade details in our systems
•perform front-to-back controls to ensure position and trades are properly reconciled
•work alongside support teams in India to ensure front office expectations are being met, quick turnaround to requests in order to meet tight market cut-offs
•engage with internal partners (Trading, PB Account Managers, Settlements & Confirmation, Finance, etc) to provide operational support and independent advice on trade flow and operational risks
•proactively identify and address system/control gaps or process improvements

Your team

You'll be working within the Equity Middle Office in Hong Kong. We support the trading activities of the Global Market business in APAC, with a focus on Stock Borrowing and Lending day-to-day support of the business.

Your expertise

•a bachelor's degree, we welcome candidates from all disciplines
•1-3 years of relevant experience working in Middle Office or other Operations departments with exposure to Corporate Actions, SBL, P&L, Settlements, Prime Brokerage
•ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment, self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge very quickly
•good working knowledge of Excel. Some VBA knowledge will be beneficial
•pragmatic "can do" attitude and risk mindset, full accountability to take ownership and drive improvements
•dedicated team player who collaborates well with different functions from different locations
•good communicator, who can confidently convey information, both written and verbal, appropriately at all levels with stakeholders
•highly responsible, self-motivated, efficient and able to work under pressure
