Your role

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, someone who can balance the demands to support business growth versus the need for rigorous control? Do you have an appetite to understand the front-to-back flow to come up with creative ways to solve problems and improve processes?

We’re looking for someone who can:
•manage under stress to deliver the best-in-class trade support across major APAC markets on Delta 1 products such as Equity Swaps, SBL and Prime Brokerage
•work alongside support teams in China/India to ensure Front Office expectations are being met, quick turnaround to requests to meet tight market cut-offs
•understand the F2B operational risks and apply this knowledge to ensure the integrity of our trade details in our systems
•perform front-to-back controls to ensure position and trades are properly reconciled
•engage with internal partners (Trading, PB Account Managers, Settlements & Confirmation, Finance, etc) to provide operational support
•proactively identify and address control gaps
•participate in process enhancements initiatives and new business roll-out, and the associated testing on system changes

Your team

You'll be working within the Financing Middle Office in Hong Kong. We support the trading activities of the Global Market business in APAC, with a focus on Delta 1 products, SBL and Prime Brokerage Services.

Your expertise

• Bachelors/Master’s degree or equivalent, we welcome candidates from all disciplines
•1 to 3 years of experience working in Investment Banking, across Corporate Actions, Trade Support, SBL, P&L, Settlements or Prime Brokerage would be ideal
•strong interest in the mechanics of the financial market and ability to articulate basic concepts in Finance would be a must
•ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment, proactively explores ways to improve the way we work
•pragmatic "can do" attitude and risk mindset along with full accountability to take ownership
•self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge very quickly
•dedicated team player who collaborates well with different functions from different locations
•good communicator, who can confidently convey information, both written and verbal, appropriately at all levels with stakeholders
•highly responsible, self-motivated, efficient and able to work under pressure
•passionate about understanding the business and learning about products in the Financing space
