We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Analyst to:
• support the team with the Budget, forecast and strategic plan construction
• evaluate company expenses and criticize cost allocation per business units
• prepare presentations and analysis supporting the finance senior leadership
• perform financial and analytical reviews, controls, data reconciliation and variance analysis
• support senior leadership in the monitoring and oversight of capital and liquidity matters
• promote financial development for the business, seeking operational optimizations
• participate in the development and implementation of process and procedures associated with financial reporting and the development of senior management presentations
• improve financial reporting through automatizations and visualization enhancements
• continuously drive a lean management initiative to gain efficiencies and improve processes

Your team
You will be part of the UBS Brazil FP&A, Capital & ALM Team, working within a high-performing group that supports both the Investment Banking and Wealth Management divisions of UBS in — a leading global financial institution headquartered in Switzerland.
This role will give you the opportunity to build a strong knowledge base across multiple finance specialist areas including FP&A Capital & ALM, accounting, product control and tax planning. You will also gain exposure to strategic projects, decision support and financial transformation initiatives.
Your expertise
• university degree in Administration, Economics, Accounting or Engineering
• experience in financial planning, analysis and data management
• excellent Excel and Access skill with strong ability to use VBA
• experience with budget development, forecast and strategic plan
• strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills
• ideally advanced in English, with strong writing skills
• experience translating financial data into meaningful reports and dashboards
• data sourcing, transformation & analytical review
• able to complete tasks independently to a high standard
• structured, organized, and detail-oriented
• knowledge in Capital & ALM matters is a plus
• knowledge in data manipulation language (eg. SQL, Python, R) is a p
