As an Service Improvement, Risk & Control lead, you will play a pivotal role by acting as enabler in terms of driving change, measuring and managing metrics that are meaningful to Reference Data. You are also responsible to manage the monitoring and testing of Key Processes. Share best practices that can help in terms of reducing operational risks for Reference Data. Your efforts will ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.

Your key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage aspects of large scale, high complex initiatives, which includes planning, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential issues.
• Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement.
• Lead and execute high impact improvement projects ensuring timely closure and benefit realization. (These could be using the standard PI methodologies of Six Sigma, Lean or using a common sense based analytical problem solving based on the pain areas, improvement's identified)
• Coordinate the tasks of the initiative among different divisions, streams, crews of different streams, and vendors
• Help resolve cross-stream conflicts and dependencies, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts.
• Formulate effective & credible mechanism to continually enhance, measure, track and report overall performance of engagements.
• Act as a point of escalations for all Risk related issues in engagement.
• Perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan

As part of the Global Reference Data Services (RDS) Organization, we are providing critical services to various business divisions across the globe. Our efforts enable UBS teams to deliver accurate reporting to relevant regulators, ensuring compliance and efficiency.


You will be working within the RDS integration team, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our services. Our team is primarily responsible for overseeing all integration activities across the various service RDS pillars.

Your expertise

• Proven track record in project coordination and navigating diverse project demands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Curious mindset and experience of self-identifying problems and comes with a solution-oriented approach
• Attention to detail and strong understanding of project management tools and techniques
• Experience and understanding of any merger or acquisition processes will be a plus.
