Your role
Data Steward create, maintain & provide access to data. They define key data under their management and implement efficient and effective data management process as well as adequate controls to ensure that data is provided in good quality and in line with UBS policies and commercial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design implement and execute processes to create and maintain data
• Apply a broad range of data management skills, from information management, non-financial risk control, data quality issue management, data cleaning, data governance to ensure that data is properly managed, shared and preserved
• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and policy compliance of data
• Design, build, and test data quality controls and business rules, monitor data quality and manage rules exceptions.
• Remediate data quality issues
• Apply concepts and assume responsibilities as defined in the Data Management Framework
• Document and continuously improve efficiency and robustness of data management process.
• Manage day-to-day stakeholder interaction.

Your team
Instrument Data team is based out of Hyderabad, responsible for setup and maintenance of instrument data. The team interacts with global stake holders of front & middle office teams. With operational centers in multiple locations this team is part of the Cross Divisional Reference data group.
Your expertise
• A total of 5-8 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of Instrument reference data experience in a financial services or banking industry.
• Masters degree or equivalent with focus on banking & finance.
• Proven expertise in setting up efficient and robust data services
• Established transparent data quality in line with business requirements
• Responsible for annual attestation of data governance artefacts for Key Data Elements.
• Excellent client services & stake holder management skills.
• Expertise in working on continuous improvements.
