Your role

Are you an expert in assessing value and risk? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate?
We’re looking for a research associate to:
• support full coverage of listed utilities across Brasil, with focus on financial modeling, earnings analysis and thematic research
• maintain and enhance financial models (DCF, multiples-based valuation and IRR analysis)
• contribute to the publication of high-impact sector and company reports. With strong attention to narrative structure and data accuracy
• prepare briefing materials for investor meetings, management calls, conference calls and regulatory interactions
• monitor regulatory updates, legislative developments, corporate events and macroeconomic drivers impacting the sector and the companies’ valuations

Your team

You’ll be working in the Equity Research team in Brazil. As a research analyst (associate), you’ll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations.

Your expertise

• +5 years of relevant experience on equity research, investment banking or asset management
• strong financial modeling skills] advanced excel proficiency is required
• excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
• genuine interest in regulated sectors and financial modeling
• high attention to detail, ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, high-performance environment
• inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
• availability to work on site (Itaim Bibi - São Paulo)
