We are looking for DevOps Engineer to:

• support the development, automation, and optimization of enterprise digital FA platforms on Microsoft Azure. This hands-on role will focus on building scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability
• design and implement enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure with focus on redundancy, resiliency, security, scalability, and observability
• build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security scans, and deployment of artifacts to Azure services such as Kubernetes, WebApps, and Azure Functions
• automate deployment and operational tasks using Azure-native tools and scripting
• implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform performance and reliability
• monitor and control Azure resource utilization and costs to ensure efficiency and budget compliance
• collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, risk, compliance, security, architecture, and cloud infrastructure to meet platform requirements
• apply DevOps best practices, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to streamline operations and delivery processes
• provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers and team members

Your team

You will be working in our WMA FA Compensation & Lifecycle Management Technology team. This position is based in the U.S. and offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our talented team members across the U.S. and India. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on technology work, with a strong focus on platform delivery and operational excellence.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent
• expert in Azure, GitLab, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
• hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure-native cloud services
• experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics)
• Database expertise: SQL proficiency, relational and NoSQL DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB), schema design, optimization, backup & recovery.
• experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep)
• knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks is a plus
• Security & Compliance: Azure AD, RBAC, encryption, and experience implementing security best practices and regulatory standards
• Cloud Architecture & Strategy: High availability, disaster recovery, multi-region deployments, scaling strategies
• advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and operational efficiency
• experience with cloud cost management, budgeting, and reporting
• version control & artifact management: Git workflows, branching strategies, artifact repositories, and release management
• strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with experience providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams
