Your role

• are you curious to explore business data to extract trends and hidden patterns?
• are you keen to bring data to life through carefully designed visualizations and dashboards?

We're looking for a Data Analyst with a knack for user interfaces and visualization to:

• design and build small-scale applications for business users to capture and submit data
• utilize statistical tools and programming languages to analyze data, with an emphasis on clarity and visual impact
• employ data visualization techniques to present complex analysis in an understandable format to stakeholders and decision-makers
• work alongside the IB Business Risk Management team in executing their overall responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and OKRs (Objective and Key results)
• work closely with the technical teams across all our agile pods in the IB BRM Crew, particularly with our automation Pod
• consolidate data sets from various applications to identify trends and provide actionable insights that will improve the Investment Bank’s first line of defense environment
• engage in continuous learning and improvement of analytical skills, particularly in relation to risk management

Your team

You will join the dynamic IB Business Risk Management (BRM) team in Pune, which operates at the core of the Investment Bank's risk management strategy. This role is pivotal in supporting the bank's drive for data-driven decision-making within the Business Risk Management (1LoD) landscape.

Your expertise

• strong technical skills in automation and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Python/Databricks, and Alteryx
• bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, machine learning, or similar (or a data analytics certification acquired through a specific program)
• 1-2 years of experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting. Ideally in Finance sector
• strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
