We’re looking for a Senior Tech Network Engineer (SRE) to:
• oversee the day-to-day technical and service aspects of the regional and global network
• provide subject matter expertise in the various technologies we support
• offer technical expertise across the network environment, focusing on both delivery and operational activities
• Provide input for the Network Tools team and contribute to their goals of deploying and supporting new tools (e.g. Zabbix)

Your team

You’ll be leading the Network SRE Team based in India providing subject matter expertise across the full spectrum suite of platform and products. The role is to provide Network deployment and operations for Network Services both regionally and globally.

Your expertise

You have:

– experience: At least 15 years of industry experience with a deep understanding of network technologies, service deployment and incident management. Experience in multinational FSI is strongly preferred.
– education: Bachelor's degree or professional degree in computer networking technology.
• certifications: CCIE certification or equivalent level of experience in a 3rd line infrastructure role.
– skills: Exceptional analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, and problem management abilities. Leadership skills for a small team to deliver the common goal is essential.
– communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and consultative abilities. This role is expected to collaborate at all levels both internal and external to Network Services to deliver solutions and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
– technical expertise (technologies/systems/applications of importance):
– strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in enterprise data center and client LAN networks (e.g., EVPN, Leaf/Spine, VRF, QoS, Multicast)
o strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in WAN technologies (e.g., SDWAN, MPLS)
– strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in routing protocols (e.g., EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
– Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in load balancing, firewalls, Network Access Control, Proxy, Cloud connectivity including Azure and AWS.
o experience with network sniffers (e.g., Wireshark, TCPDUMP)
– experience with Arista, Cisco and Juniper routers & switches
o experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible)
– experience with Public Cloud infrastructures (Microsoft Azure)
– experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
– experience with SkyHigh Web Proxies
– experience with F5 and Citrix load balancers
– familiarity with network/monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Splunk, NetScout)
– good understanding of network protocols


You are:
– Eligible to work in India

– able to work with minimal oversight and under high pressure
– able to multi-task
– able to lead a small team of senior network engineers or a project team
– able to project manage medium to high complexity projects
– able to develop and enhance process to improve governance and control
– able to work with Architecture and Engineering to come up with supportable solutions from the operational aspects.
