Your role

Do you possess a commercial mindset? Are you intrigued by strategic market developments? Are you eager to challenge and maintain best-in-class service from our providers? We are seeking someone who can:

• Maintain and manage relationships with providers (agents, market counterparties, and market infrastructures), offering a holistic view of relationships across all entities and products. This includes managing detailed market expertise for all products, cost management, negotiating services, pricing and processes, and service level management.

• Actively engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, support and coordinate initiatives.

• Analyze the impact of industry regulatory changes on the UBS group, maintain awareness of current market activities, and align this with key risks.

• Achieve commercial best practices for the group through active stakeholder engagement, project and change management. This includes extracting improved risk/service/innovation value from managed supplier relationships (providers and utilities) as well as achieving cost reductions.

Your team

You'll be working in the Network & Market Infrastructure Management APAC team in Hong Kong under GOTO function.

Your expertise

• Familiarity with post-trade banking operations and the third-party provider landscape, with the ability to work towards deadlines
• Strong Securities understanding
• Knowledge of financials, cost-per-trade calculations, and the ability to create models to analyze costs and identify savings opportunities
• An appreciation of the impact of regulatory guidelines and requirements, especially FCA CASS, MAS and SFC rules, with sensitivity to risk management and remediation
• Some knowledge of post-trade complexities, challenges, and restrictions in the APAC region
• Excellent English communication skills, with Mandarin preferred but not essential
