Your role
We’re looking for a Director, Tech Support Specialist to:
• Incorporate software engineering aspects and apply them to infrastructure and operations problems. Apply software engineering principles to systems administration and serve a bridge between a company’s development and operations.
• Perform functions and on-call duties and develop the systems and software that bolster site reliability and performance. Build self-service tools for user groups that provide automation and rely on their services, including automatic test result provisioning and statistical visualizations.
• Create services that reduce the amount of work in progress for all parties, allowing developers to focus on feature development. Collaborate with product developers to ensure designed solutions respond to nonfunctional requirements including security and maintainability and work with release engineers to confirm that software delivery pipelines are as efficient as possible.
• Improve stability, reducing costs, automate manual effort, eliminate repetitive tasks, and build user self-serve capabilities to ensure applications and systems run as smoothly as possible.
• Leverage both technical skills but also business specific knowledge and experience to understand the problem statement to design and build technical solutions leveraging the latest technology and artificial intelligence processes.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $154,000 to $201,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Software Quality Analyst/Tester, Technology Specialist, or a related occupation.
