We are seeking a skilled Flowable SME & Java backend developer to design, develop, and optimize business process automation solutions using Flowable Workflow Engine. The ideal candidate should have strong working experience of Flowable, BPMN, CMMN & DMN along with solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native architecture .

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance Technologies - eDiscovery Crew in Pune.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a software engineers to :

• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees

• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment

• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

• implement business processes using Flowable

• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment

• develop and test your code using agile methodologies and review code written by other developers and provide both constructive and concise feedback

• collaborate with your pod and stakeholders to help design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions to digitize business processes that increase client value using modern technologies

• evaluate new digitalization initiatives on feasibility, effort and value and support our developer community by spreading your knowhow, introducing best practices and maintaining our documentation

• guard the stability of your solutions and help analyze and resolve any issues in our productive systems

• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities and contribute to the design of the overall solution architecture

Your expertise

• experience in developing workflow automation solutions using Flowable BPMN, CMMN, and DMN models

• experience in custom Flowable extensions, event listeners, and service tasks to integrate with external systems

• experience in Flowable process execution for performance and scalability

• experience in integrating Flowable REST APIs and Java APIs

• experience in customizing Flowable User Interface and Flowable Forms

• experience in development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 11+/Spring Boot

• experience in deployment and management of Flowable-based applications on Azure/AWS/GCP

• understanding of agile delivery methodologies

• excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities

• strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical experts and non-technical end-users
