Your role

We are looking for someone to:
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in the IB business and Compliance experts to clarify business and regulatory requirements for trade surveillance applications
• Drive the strategy and implementation of solutions on our vendor trade surveillance platform, maximizing outcomes in terms of compliance risk coverage and usability
• Manage the change initiatives impacting trade surveillance whilst meeting strategic, regulatory and operational expectations
• Carry out reviews of completeness and effectiveness of current surveillance capabilities, design and implement solutions to address any identified issues/gaps
• Deep dive into trade surveillance monitoring across products and asset classes – considering the quality of alerting logic and how to improve output and efficiency in monitoring
• Design and deliver a forward looking and risk based surveillance program considering the nature and scope of products, including focus on data completeness and quality
• Prepare documentation on issues and solutions, which will stand up to scrutiny by internal management and the regulator
• Present plans, proposals and findings at team meetings, Working Groups, and to Business and Compliance senior management
• Partner with Technology, third party vendors, Front Office stakeholders, business aligned Compliance and monitoring user groups

Your team

• The successful candidate will be working in the GCRG COO ADO (Agile Delivery Organization) working closely with senior product owners, Technology and Compliance experts in the design and delivery of strategic Trade Surveillance solutions globally. We provide an effective and comprehensive monitoring and surveillance capability to identify and report suspicious activity where there are reasonable grounds to suspect they might constitute market abuse, such as insider dealing or market manipulation.

Your expertise

• Change delivery expert, with experience working with AI and Technology, ideally as product manager or junior product owner.
• Understanding of Compliance and/ or Risk Management, with experience in IB products or trade surveillance tools preferred.
• Strong communicator, in both written and verbal skills, with ability to work with senior stakeholders in a global environment.
• Team player who can multi task and deliver under pressure.
• Self-starter with proactive attitude to problem resolution.
