Your role

We are looking for Financial Controller who can broadly cover below responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Control the Monthly / Quarterly / Annual period end accounting and book closure process.
- Delivery of financial reporting and analysis including revenue, Cost, balance sheet, funding, and liquidity to the Business Leads.
- Prepare the annual financial statements, co-ordinate and liaise with various teams to get the annual audit completed.
- Prepare / review of the standard / ad-hoc regulatory reports.
- Prepare journals and reports, review the journals and reports prepared by the team. Post the required manual adjustments in the books to finalize the P&L and balance sheet.
- Provide analytical reviews and commentary for the P&L and BS movements. Deep dive, investigate and analyze the relevant reporting line to provide the satisfactory answers for the ad-hoc queries from stakeholders.
- Review and signoff on the balance sheet substantiation process. Report any risk, follow up and drive the issue to closure in a defined timely manner.
- Financial support and advice for Regional Business Leads and CFO within the location

Your expertise

• CA aspirants or a relevant degree as prescribed by UBS HR Policy.
• Should have knowledge of accounting aspects of transaction i.e. impact on PNL & Balance Sheet. • Strong analytical and numerical skills combined with a flair of visualization.
• A proactive and change focused mind-set with problem solving ability.
• A team player, interacts well and creates synergy in team environment.
• Enthusiastic, takes initiatives and is diligent.• MS office (especially excel and power point) - basic level.
• Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written form.
