We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to:

• design, develop, and continuously improve intelligent digital products and services that support our employees and HR stakeholders — with AI at the core.
• apply a broad range of modern engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to optimizing performance and accessibility.
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying UBS digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.
• continuously upskill and explore new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, and make sustainable, forward-looking engineering decisions.

Your team

You’ll be part of the AI Engineering team within the GOTO Group HRCS Technology organization. Our mission is to simplify and digitize the HR application landscape while delivering AI-powered solutions that enhance the employee experience. Based in Poland you’ll work in an agile, autonomous pod alongside product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Your expertise

• strong experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• proficient in building responsive, accessible UI using HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
• practical knowledge of GraphQL (Apollo or equivalent)
• strong understanding of SSR/SSG and performance optimization in Next.js
•experience with frontend testing frameworks: React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
• ability to work collaboratively with UX designers and backend/API engineers
• familiarity with AI UI SDKs (e.g., Vercel AI SDK, CopilotKit, Assistant-UI) is a strong plus
• clear communication skills, and the ability to mentor and review code
• passion for delivering user-centric products with high attention to detail
