Your role

• Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Corporate Credit Risk Models team in Pune focusing on Models development for Financial Institutions Wholesale Credit Risk Models

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent focusing on Software development
• Ideally 9+ years of experience in a similar position focused on Software development
• Interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• Strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• Hands-on expertise in ReactJS as primary technology , Java/Python as secondary technology
• Hands-on with Azure Cloud (preferable) or any Cloud Technology ( AWS)
• Sound knowledge on CI/CD
• Good understanding relational databases like Sybase/Oracle/Azure SQL
• Good to have knowledge on Databricks and Pyspark SQL
• Experience in Maven, GIT/GITLAB or any Versioning tool
• Testing (Unit, System, Integration, UAT, Performance, Stability) and Test Driven Development / Behaviour Driven Development
• Knowledge of the business and technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective
• Experience with python is a bonus
• Experience with agile development methodologies including scrum
• Experience with source control management systems including git and continuous integration/deployment environments.
