We have an exciting opportunity for within Credit Middle Office to:
• Engage in the day-to-day transactional integrity and lifecycle processing of the Credit trading desks, through proactive risk identification and remediation, facing off directly with business and senior management.
• Closely collaborate with Trading, Sales, COO, C&ORC and the Investment Bank Operations teams to deliver real-time risk management services and end of day controls measured by daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Execute the digital transformation vision through analysis of existing product flows from front to back, identifying and delivering improvements to enhance our internal and external client experience.

Your team
You'll be working in the Investment Bank's Global Markets Credit Middle Office team sitting on the trading floor in New York City. The individual will primarily focus on supporting the various controls to support the Credit Trading Desks including Investment Grade, High Yield and Emerging Markets desks. You will be looking after various controls and reconciliations to help the US Credit Trading Desk manage and control risk. Collaboration with the EMEA and APAC Middle Office and operations teams creates a high-paced environment and fosters knowledge sharing across teams.
Your expertise
•Bachelors degree in Economics or Finance.
•FINRA Licensed (S99, S7, S63) is helpful but not required.
•Experience focusing on Fixed Income, preferably Credit Derivatives and Corporate securities including calculations and validation of lifecycle events.
•Experience facing off to the business heads (Sales/Trading/COO) and senior operations managers is beneficial.
•Understanding of the front-to-back lifecycle of a trade
Communication with Sales, Trading, Operations, Risk, Technology, Regulatory Reporting and Clients.
• Advanced problem-solving techniques.
• Understanding of Automation tools including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. E.g., Alteryx, Python, VBA macros is helpful but not required
