We’re looking for a Equity Derivatives trader to:

• market make in China A share options
• keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
• build analytical tools to manage risk and capture dislocation in markets
• work closely with sales and trading teams to generate revenue and grow client business
• adapt to a changing regulatory environment and follow internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies

Your team

You’ll be joining a growing Equity Derivatives franchise, specifically working in the China Derivatives Trading team in Hong Kong. We trade a range of Equity Derivatives products across the China markets, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. This benefits our corporate, institutional and wealth management clients. As an Equity Derivatives trader, you’ll play an important role in helping our clients identify and access the products and liquidity they need.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science, engineering or other quantitative degrees
• proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred given heavy exposure in China onshore markets
• ideally 1-3 years’ worth of risk management experience
• basic knowledge of option pricings and risk management
• passionate on financial markets
• strong analytical ability including basic programming skills
