Your role

We are seeking software engineers to:
• provide technology solutions that address business problems and reinforce our position as digital leaders in financial services.
• analyze business requirements for Order Trade Management.
• design, plan, and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages.
• offer technical expertise and recommendations for new software projects and initiatives aimed at supporting and enhancing our existing applications.
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, while also participating in application architecture and design discussions.
• ensure that appropriate operational controls and procedures are implemented to facilitate the transition from test to production environments.

Your team

You’ll be working in the WMA, OTM Crew Pune. We offer technology solutions for Retail Clients, FA's/CSA's Front & Middle-office users, Money Managers, and Traders. These solutions support three key service lines: Order Entry, Management, and Execution/Market Connectivity; Trade Affirmation, Allocation, and Settlement; and Client, Regulatory, and Risk Reporting. As a Java Backend Developer, you’ll play an important role in Modernizing these applications.

Your expertise

• ideally 4+ years of experience on Java development using in Core Java, Spring-boot, and JPA
• proficient skills with tools like: InteliJ IDEA, JIRA, Git, Gitlab, Maven etc
• good to have understanding of Cloud Native microservice architecture, database concept, Kafka messaging system, Cloud Fundamentals and Gitlab
• hands-on experience in WebSphere and UNIX shell scripting
• expertise in multi-threaded programming, memory management, profiling virtualization and containerization
• experience in RDBMS such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or oracle
• know-how of CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., gitlab, azure devops)
