Your role

Your team

You will be working in the CTO function based in our Pune office. Working with senior management in the CTO function and partnering with the architect community within the Group Technology organization to transform the way we manage software development. Our global team across Pune, Weehawken, London, Wroclaw, Krakow and other locations is unifying existing programs that support the tools and processes used by our development community, aligning them to our Cloud adoption agenda and driving the creation a dynamic developer/engineering experience. We are passionately working towards recognition of UBS as the "employer of choice" for technical talent in the Financial Services industry.

Your expertise

• 3+ years of software and/or IT engineering related experience
• deep experience with two or more core programming languages and relevant frameworks. Golang experience preferred
• ability to work with CI/CD and related tooling
• experience implementing test automation
• familiarity with a broad range of platforms, technologies and tools, specifically GitLab, Linux,
• experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other cloud-native infrastructure technologies is a plus
• experience with cloud technologies (MS Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and enabling cloud-native solutions is a plus
• understanding of security and regulatory concerns common in banking environments, particularly regarding the software supply chain is a plus
• experience working in Agile teams

• high level of curiosity and awareness of emerging technologies and patterns, particularly in the cloud-native and CI/CD spaces
