Your role

We’re looking for someone like this to:
• Be an integral part of our global Business Risk Management team, which partners with the Investment Bank in helping manage risks related to outsourcing work to third party vendors and across legal entities, and encouraging best practice and consistency on a global basis in line with applicable policies and guidelines
• Develop IB and risk management skillset to build business relationships and facilitate end-to-end processes. For example, you will take an active role in several new business initiatives by working closely with our IB BRM team as well as our stakeholders and other functions globally
• Advise business representatives on risk-based requirements for outsourcing. For example, you will support business representatives to identify, monitor, and document risk inputs for outsourced services
• Partner with teams across UBS to facilitate and document outsourced activity. For example, you will help manage contracts and ensure compliance
• Collaborate on team deliveries and continuous day-to-day improvements
• Provide transparent risk reporting to management, compliance and auditors

Your team

You’ll be working in the Investment Bank’s Business Risk Management team located in Fabryczna Office Park, Krakow. You will be part of a team which is based across: China; India; Poland; UK; US. We are the IB’s subject matter experts supporting understanding and risk management of third party and inter-entity outsourcing risks.

Your expertise

• Experience working in English; both written and spoken
• Strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and good attention to detail
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with different deadlines
• Proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on team deliveries and client needs
• Ability to build relationships across a global organisation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Previous Investment Banking, Risk, or similar experience (desirable)
