Key responsibilities:
• build modern web applications: collaborate with our team to create new solutions using JavaScript/React for the front end and C# WebAPI for the back end;
•develop smart tools: contribute to the design and implementation of an AI-powered SQL tool in Python, learning about automation and intelligent systems;
• work with real-world DevOps tools: use GitLab to manage code, streamline deployments, and work effectively with your teammates;
• gain hands-on database experience: Interact with MSSQL databases, learning how to store, retrieve, and optimize data for applications,
• improve data visualization: maintain and enhance PowerBI reports, helping transform raw data into meaningful insights for the business;

Your team

You’ll be working in the GWM Chief Investment Office Business Intelligence Poland team in Wroclaw, closely collaborating with the Global IM Performance and Risk Analytics team in Zurich.
We are responsible for measuring investment performance and benchmarks.
We provide a wide range of BI solutions and reports to the portfolio managers on a regular and ad-hoc basis, to enable efficient decision-making process.

Our internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. Your paid internship will last 6 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months.

Your expertise

• knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Html/Css,
• knowledge of Version Control System (GitLab),
• familiarity with software design patterns and architectural principles, with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code,
• attention to details, especially when it comes to writing code and working with data,
• open and self-confident to learn new technologies with the ability to implement them into new solutions,
• good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities,
• good interpersonal and communication skills, a team-oriented mindset,
• proficiency in written and spoken English,
• dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.

Will be considered as an asset:
• knowledge of Python, C# and SQL,
• knowledge of Azure Cloud Services,
• experience or interest in Microsoft Power BI.
