Your role

As part of Wealth Management Private Clients (WMPC), you will develop and support inhouse built application, with the goal to guarantee best-in-class quality and stability for the whole WMPC.

We’re looking for Full Stack Java Developer to:

• Software development and maintenance for multiple software components.
• Analyse business requirements for the WMPC stakeholders.
• Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• See that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
• Support and Maintain existing tools and technologies.

Your team

We are part of Wealth Management Private Clients (WMPC) CTO, that enables the WMPC Application teams within UBS. We mainly focus on Enabling innovation and transformation of WMPC Technology organization by providing standardized and modern software quality assurance for increased efficiency; this will be supported by respective strategies and best practices in the areas of automation to guarantee best-in-class quality and stability for the entire WMPC Technology ecosystem.

Your expertise

• software engineer/developer focused on Java, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, REST Webservice, Spring Boot Microservice Application Development
• good Understanding of Azure Cloud and DevOps using Ansible/Terraform/Bicep
• know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC GiT, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Monitoring/Observability, Test Automations
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering or equivalent with a focus in Cloud, Spring Boot Microservice Application Development and minimum of 5yrs of relevant hands-on experience.
• good to have Knowledge on AI.
• well versed with Agile Scrum methodology
