Your role

Do you have the ability to provide holistic investment advice in a portfolio context? Do you have expertise across a range of asset classes and markets? Do you want to maximize the benefits of a global franchise for the good of clients? Do you have proven track record advising clients in advisory portfolios across bespoke instruments?

We are looking for Investment Consultants to:
• Partner Client Advisers to provide holistic advice to clients
• Drive portfolio allocation and manage account reviews to align client with CIO views while keeping in view of client’s risk profile and investment preference
• Collaborate with Chief Investment Office (CIO) and other investment product teams to deliver the entire product suite and trading capability of UBS to clients

Your team

You will be working as part of Wealth Management APAC in Advisory & Sales as an Investment Consultant based in Singapore.
The Investment Consultant team is a multi-asset, sales and advisory team. The team is responsible for bringing CIO-aligned investment solutions in a timely manner to clients. We are a dynamic team and enjoy working to provide best-in-class solutions for our clients.

Your expertise

• At least 10 years of experience in portfolio management, investment management, sales and trading
• Specialization in at least one asset class or product type, such as Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Structured Products / Derivatives and Alternatives
• Possess a strong drive, initiative, adaptable and be able to work independently in a stressful and demanding environment
• Proven presentation skills in front of clients and Client Advisers, and strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (Family offices or Ultra High Net Worth)
• Sales and service oriented with excellent communication skill
• An advanced degree in the area of finance, CFA certification is a plus
• Fluent in English, while other languages are a plus
• This is a demanding role due to the complexity and high volume of the business, perseverance and drive are key attributes to be successful in the role
