We’re searching for a Client Service Core Specialist in UBS Asset Management to:
• Maintain and monitor data quality (e.g., agreement updates, accounts mapping, client reporting related information) for our clients such as pension funds, sovereign wealth clients and distributors in central systems.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, coordinate responses with internal teams, manage complaints, and ensure client satisfaction by delivering timely and accurate information and services.
• Attend, host, and prepare for training days, due diligence meetings, and sales pitches. Organize materials, logistics, and follow-up communications in partnership with the Client Relationship Manager (CRM).
• Handle RFP coordination, cash-flow notifications, fund launches/changes, and support life-cycle changes and maintain accurate client data in internal systems.
• Oversee fee invoicing, trailer fee approvals, payment coordination, and proactively manage outstanding invoices (aged debtors).
• Execute processes and controls in a timely, accurate, and complete manner and ensure compliance with regulations and manage audit requests.
• Contribute to and potentially lead projects to further improve the Client Service function.

Your team
You’ll be part of the global Client Service function as part of the Client Service Core team with colleagues in different locations in Europe. As a Client Service Core Specialist, you will work closely with CRMs and colleagues from different functions within UBS Asset Management. Our key objective is to deliver excellent client services with continuous improvement on process efficiency and risk control.
Client Service encompasses open-minded and experienced colleagues, who enjoy the regularly arising new challenges of our day-to-day work. We work closely with CRMs as well as other internal colleagues from functions such as Legal, Compliance, Tax, Operations & Investment teams. Collectively, we strive to provide our clients with the best possible solutions for their investment and financial needs.
Your expertise
• Bachelor's or master's Degree in banking, finance, law, international business or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years client service experience, ideally within the financial services industry
• Understanding of and sound interest in financial services and instruments (e.g., bonds, securities, derivatives FX, investment funds, corporate actions) and relevant parties involved
• Business fluent in English; business fluency in German, French, Italian or any other European language is an advantage
• Great communicator, able to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels
• Interest in digitization and an affinity for technology
• Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, across a range of functions
