Your role

We’re looking for a quantitative analyst to support algorithmic trading platform and client analytics and quantitative configuration across APAC markets. The role combines platform level quantitative work with production analytics, transaction cost analysis (TCA), and client facing performance review support. You will:
• Develop and maintain quantitative frameworks that influence algorithmic trading behaviour, including market specific configuration and analytics logic.
• Enhance analytics pipelines used for algorithm monitoring and performance analysis, including helping drive data availability and re processing requirements with relevant data teams.
• Perform execution performance analysis and transaction cost analysis (TCA) for internal and client facing reviews.
• Analyse execution behaviour across market conditions, arrival times, and execution styles, translating results into clear, actionable insights, client specific and broader platform / algo improvements and internalization.
• Support methodology discussions and follow up analysis related to analytics outputs and benchmarks as well as providing market microstructure based insights.
• Partner with Trading, Product, Technology, and Control teams to ensure analytics outputs align with platform behaviour and business requirements.

Your team

You’ll join the Algorithms and Analytics team within Agency Algorithmic Trading, responsible for quantitative analysis, platform analytics, and execution insight across APAC equity markets.

Your expertise

You have:
• 2–3+ years of experience in algorithmic trading, execution analytics, or a related agency execution quantitative role.
• A solid understanding of market structure and its impact on electronic execution.
• Experience working with production analytics systems or quantitative platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with kdb+/q is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with data visualisation and analytics tools (e.g. Python plotting libraries, dashboards, or equivalent).
You are:
• Comfortable explaining quantitative results to both technical and non technical stakeholders, including client facing discussions.
• Analytical, detail oriented, and able to work across complex data and system dependencies.
• Effective at collaborating across quantitative, trading, technology, and product teams.
