Your role

You will be working in the Asset Management Middle Office Trade Processing service, providing confirmation, affirmation and settlement services for Securities trading activity within UBS Asset Management. The Team is responsible for processing asset classes and instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX, TBA’s, Repo’s, money market products and collective funds.

As a Senior Specialist, your role could also include supervision of other team members' work, taking part in development projects and potential leadership opportunities, depending on your skillset and open opportunities.

Your team

The team, based in Poland, is part of a global function which has presence in London, Chicago, Zurich and Singapore. The Team works in close conjunction with Portfolio Manager, Traders, Brokers, Custodians and various global Operations teams.

Your expertise

• 3+ years experience working within a Buy-Side trade processing environment (highly desirable)
• an understanding of Global Markets and a wide range of Security Instruments
• solid understanding of the end to end trade lifecycle from execution through confirmation, settlement, and post settlement.
• Hands on experience processing FX and Securities products, including: FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Fixed Income (bonds), Equities, ETFs, Repo and Money Market instruments
• a strong risk-awareness mentality and knowledge of global regulations for Asset Managers
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• the ability to multi-task and solve problems
• automation skills including VBA, Power BI, Python would be a great asset
• experience with securities & FX matching platforms, as well as knowledge of securities and FX-associated SWIFT messages would be an asset
