Your role

Do you have in-depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investment funds and the funds’ entire
value chain, including legal, risk, investments, and operational aspects? Have you managed product
development initiatives from A to Z? Do you want to help us to manage our growing white labelling fund business?

We’re looking for a Product Developer & Manager to:
• develop and structure Swiss domiciled bespoke white label funds (traditional and alternative asset classes) based on client requirements and thorough product feasibility assessments
• manage and coordinate front-to-back the set-up of new white label funds as well as fund
lifecycle events (repositioning, restructuring, merger, etc.) with all involved stakeholders and clients
• plan, initiate and coordinate all changes of fund contracts, prospectuses and other fund
documents triggered by new fund projects, lifecycle activities and regulatory initiatives for Swiss
domiciled funds.
• lead and support special regulatory and product related projects or initiatives
• assume general product management tasks related to the white label funds allocated to you (e.g. data maintenance, regulatory changes, fund shelf review, process design and review).

Your team

You’ll be working in the Product Structuring team for white labelling funds in Zürich or Basel. We are responsible for managing the white labelling funds across traditional and alternative asset classes. As a Product Specialist, you'll work closely with all stakeholders along the fund value chain to support product development and product lifecycle management. UBS is one of the leading providers of White Labelling Solutions for traditional and alternative fund structures. For more than 20 years, we have been structuring, launching and administering wide range of investment funds for banks, regulated asset managers and institutional investors.

Your expertise

• ideally 3-5 years' financial sector experience with a focus on investment funds domiciled in Switzerland
• in-depth knowledge of the value chain in the context of Portfolio Management, Fund Management, Fund Administration and Regulatory Requirements. Sound investment know-how (e.g. CFA) is a plus
• excellent project management skills to manage large projects with multiple stakeholders
• proactive self-starter who has a keen eye for the details
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• excellent communicator with high standards for client service
• native German speaker and fluent in English to support local client base; French would be an asset.
