Your role

Are you detail oriented, even when multitasking? Do you know how to shine in an operational role within dynamic environment? We’re looking for someone like that to help us with:
• Managing both STP and manual confirmation processes, including investigation and resolution of unmatched, late, or failed trades with brokers, custodians and counterparties
• Ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of market facing trade activity
• Act as a subject matter for Securities settlements, supporting junior team members and acting as Expert towards IT and Improvement projects
• Support management reporting, audits, and regulatory requests related to trade processing activities.


You will be working in the Asset Management Middle Office Trade Processing and settlement services for Securities trading activity within UBS Asset Management. The Team is responsible for processing asset classes and instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX, TBA’s, Repo’s, money market products and collective funds.

Your team

The team, based in Poland, is part of a global function which has presence in London, Chicago, Zurich and Singapore. The Team works in close conjunction with Portfolio Manager, Traders, Brokers, Custodians and various global Operations teams.

Your expertise

• 5+ years experience working within a Buy-Side trade processing environment (highly desirable)
• an understanding of Global Markets and a wide range of Security Instruments
• solid understanding of the end to end trade lifecycle from execution through confirmation, settlement, and post settlement.
• Hands on experience processing FX and Securities products, including: FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Fixed Income (bonds), Equities, ETFs, Repo and Money Market instruments
• a strong risk-awareness mentality and knowledge of global regulations for Asset Managers
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• the ability to multi-task and solve problems
• automation skills including VBA, Power BI, Python would be a great asset
• experience with securities & FX matching platforms, as well as knowledge of securities and FX-associated SWIFT messages would be an asset

• fluent in English
• adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills
• highly numerate and have excellent PC skills, including Excel
• accountable for your actions
• able to work collaboratively within a team
• able to add constructive challenge
• delivery orientated oriented
