Your role
Join us as Business Development specialist for the UBS Global Financial Intermediaries Business covering mainly the Greater China area. In this role you will have strategic responsibility for the acquisition, business development and coverage of Institutional Asset Managers and sophisticated Multi-Family Offices. You will perform a thorough pipeline management to identify industry and market trends. You will promote the UBS Global Financial Intermediaries Business in the market and conduct an ongoing comprehensive and systematic market screening. Furthermore, you will develop dedicated solutions and bespoke offerings (such as Asset Servicing or Fund Financing Solutions) for our prospects and clients in collaboration with different internal partner and service providers. In this role you will need to nurture close collaborations with various Specialists within the Bank which will help you grow a strong network.

Your expertise
You’ll be a good match if you have:
• A University degree; further credentials such as CFA, CAIA and/or FRM are a plus
• Extensive banking/financial industry background with knowledge in the multi-family office segment, fund management, asset servicing and/or lending solutions
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a good sense of risk management
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent ability to build trusting and sustainable relationships with internal and external partners
• Proven team player with good listening skills and ambitious and clearly structured objectives
• Excellent sense of responsibility and comfortable to work independently
• Service focused mentality and high flexibility
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese and English rounds your profile, additional languages are a plus
