Your role

As part of our strategic vision to expand our well-established Custody offering, UBS Europe SE is preparing to launch execution-to-custody services for Banks and Regulated Brokers within European markets through our Frankfurt legal entity by mid-2026. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales professional to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to not only drive sales for our custody services but also to play a pivotal role in shaping and establishing our custody offering in Germany for long-term success. The successful candidate will lead sales initiatives, provide advisory support to clients post-mandate, and collaborate with local and Zurich-based management to build a robust local presence.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead sales efforts to introduce and grow custody solutions for Banks and Regulated Brokers in Europe.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to promote custody services either stand-alone or in combination with trade execution.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the custody market, building strong client relationships and representing UBS ESE as a trusted partner.
• Ensure flawless product implementation and provide ongoing advisory support to clients post-mandate, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of custody services and contribute to the strategic growth of the custody business in Germany.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to clients.
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the custody business, with a focus on execution and custody services.
• Strong understanding of custody operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
• Fluent in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
