Your role
As a key member of the Cards Processing Team, you will serve as a hands-on individual contributor supporting critical card processing activities and ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled execution of daily operations between UBS, internal business partners, and card vendors. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented operations professional with strong accounting and reconciliation experience who can identify exceptions, research issues, and help maintain a high-quality experience for branch and business stakeholders by:
Support the end-to-end card lifecycle, including production, personalization, distribution, maintenance, and issue resolution, while helping ensure service levels are met and operational risks are identified and addressed promptly.
Perform reconciliations across multiple general ledgers and card processing accounts, researching outages, transaction breaks, and exceptions to support timely resolution and reduce financial and operational risk.

Your team
Partner closely with branch staff, operations teams, system support groups, and external vendors to coordinate processing activity, resolve operational issues, and ensure adherence to procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement across card processing workflows by identifying root causes, supporting procedure standardization, improving reporting and service metrics, and helping implement changes that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
Your expertise
Expertise:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors, internal business teams, and cross-functional partners in a high-volume operational environment.
5+ years of experience in card operations, back-office processing, accounting support, and/or reconciliation functions within a regulated financial services environment.
Demonstrated success in a hands-on role requiring strong organization, sound judgment, attention to detail, and accountability for quality, timelines, and operational outcomes.
Strong risk and controls mindset with experience identifying operational risk, following established procedures, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, card network requirements, and applicable regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, make sound operational decisions, and escalate issues appropriately with clear, actionable information.
Strong knowledge of card systems, transaction processing, settlement, accounting support, reconciliations, exception management, and root-cause analysis, with the ability to translate operational data into effective solutions.
Experience supporting process improvement efforts such as workflow redesign, standardization, automation, KPI reporting, and vendor/service performance monitoring to improve quality, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Ability to work independently, manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision, and build strong partnerships across operations, technology, risk, and branch channels.
Experience with CTC and/or TSYS (FIS) a plus.
