Your role

Do you want to play a key role in delivering first class execution services to our clients?

This global markets role will require the candidate to have knowledge of global equity markets and relevant experience in the servicing of clients from an execution perspective. The candidate should enjoy focusing on all aspects of the client from relationship management, account planning through to execution. The role is part of a wider team so the candidate should be a strong team player with an interest in junior talent development.

We’re looking for someone like that who can help us:
• act as primary sales trading cover for global clients
• develop client relationships giving them market information commentary and best execution services.
• trading with skill and building exceptional relationships is key to success
• advise on market events, consult on the best execution methods available based on client objectives

Your team

You will be part of the sales trading team based in Johannesburg covering local and global clients. You will be working hand in hand with our trading team as well as fellow colleagues in sales trading from across the network.

Your expertise

• understanding of local and global market landscape and companies
• experience in executing via voice trading and electronic trading platforms
• excellent relationship management skills
• extensive knowledge of the clients with existing relationships
• effective communicator at all levels with an excellent attention to detail
