Are you curious about how energy transition, regulation, technology and capital markets intersect? Do you enjoy connecting dots across sectors, analyzing data, and turning complex topics into clear insights?
We are looking for an intern to:
• assist in the preparation of thematic and cross-sector research reports (e.g. energy transition, ESG, regulation-driven themes)
• analyze proprietary and public datasets, extracting insights and narratives rather than building financial models
• contribute to research pieces that are externally published
• participate in calls and meetings with companies, policymakers and industry experts
• support analysts in daily research activities, including trend monitoring and content organization
• monitor global and local market trends
• track economic and regulatory developments relevant to energy transition and sustainability
• support networking initiatives through ARC (Analytical Research Community)

Your team
You will join the Thematic & ESG Research team based in São Paulo, Brazil. We’re responsible for helping analysts to drive their franchise to success; putting together relevant content, maintain the calendar of Equity / Thematic reports, such as: ESG, Top Picks and Crowded Stocks. As a thematic research intern, you’ll help the product manager to monitor market trend, build and increase networking through ARC (Analytical Research Community), track economic movements, and assess the impact of regulation on specific themes, having the opportunity to expand your knowledge on Equity / Thematic Research field.
Your expertise
• undergraduate student in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with graduation date on dec/27 or after
• availability to work 30 hours/week onsite
• ideally advanced English (written and spoken)
• strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• organized, proactive and comfortable working with autonomy
• clear communication and presentation skills (Portuguese and English)
• strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• demonstrated interest in topics such as energy, sustainability, climate policy, infrastructure or ESG is a strong plus
