Your role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for financial analysis and risk management?

We’re seeking a proactive and analytical (Director) to join our Investment Banking Risk Control team in Seoul. In this part-time role (50%), you will act as the UBS Securities, Seoul Branch CRO, which includes the following responsibilities:
• Chairing and preparing minutes for the local Risk Management Control Committee and attending monthly management meetings.
• Oversight and submission of regulatory reporting.
• Management of local liquidity risk management guidelines, involvement in the semi-annual liquidity stress test.
• Oversight of the monthly credit stress test.
• Internal/Regulatory inquiries related to Korea Risk in general.

Your team

You’ll be part of the APAC Investment Banking Risk Control team, which is responsible to look across all Credit and Market Risk in the region.

Your expertise

What You Bring:
• Educational Background: University [Master] degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related financial field.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a related regulatory field.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with financial markets, traded products, and financial accounting concepts.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent team player with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, business units, and senior management.
• Mandatory language Skills: Fluent in English and Korean (both verbal and written).
