We’re looking for Business Risk Specialist to:


• identify, assess and remediate operational risks (financial, reputational, regulatory, legal risks…) throughout the value chain
• act as a subject matter expert with focus on policies, processes and controls, issue tracking, risk monitoring and assessment as well as the definition of entailed required adaptions of the policies and control framework
• monitor changes and ongoing regulatory developments affecting the business
• initiate, support and track end to end implementation required due to changes in the policy or regulatory framework (e.g. documents, processes, controls, training curriculum…)

Your team

You’ll be working in the Business Risk Organization team which ensures the assessment, mitigation and reporting of emerging risks for the location Luxembourg.

We are assessing risks for the business area GWM along various dimensions, establish risk reports for the business area head and ensure proper risk governance.
In addition, we oversee the implementation of changes to the global risk assessment framework, support the assessment of new business cases and policies from a risk point of view and ensure the sustainable remediation of audit actions.
In this role, you will work closely with the business as well as control functions in booking center Luxembourg.

Your expertise

• a strong and relevant experience in the Wealth Management or Asset Servicing business, preferably in a risk management, compliance, operational risk or internal audit type of role,
• sound knowledge of risk management
• passion for efficient and professional delivery of pragmatic and practicable solutions
• excellent skills in MS Office applications
• a strong communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• an analytic and conceptual thinker, with the ability to break down complex issues
• a self-starter, hands-on and willing to take on responsibility (you can micromanage yourself)
• comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• fluent in English; knowledge of Nordic languages (i.e. Swedish, Danish, Finnish or Norwegian) is a plus
