Do you have deep expertise in SAP reporting and analytics and enjoy building enterprise reporting capabilities that support strategic Finance decision-making?
We're looking for a Reporting SME who can own the design, governance, and delivery of SAP Finance reporting capability across the enterprise reporting stack - SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analysis for Office (AO), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This Associate Director-level role within the SAP BCOE is accountable for a governed, performant reporting architecture aligned to the SAP Finance data model, and for building India as the center of reporting capability for Group Finance:

Key Responsibilities:
• Own the target-state reporting architecture spanning BW, Datasphere, BDC, AO, and SAC.
• Lead SAC deliverables, dashboard, and planning model design for Finance reporting and embedded analytics.
• Establish AO workbook standards - variable handling, exception reporting, version control, and distribution governance across Group Finance.
• Define BDC data product strategy for cross-application Finance reporting, ensuring harmonized consumption of SAP / Non-SAP Finance data products.
• Govern reporting object lifecycle across DEV/QA/PRD, ensuring change control and alignment with local regulatory requirements.
• Build a reporting capability within the SAP BCOE, embedding SAP best-practice modelling standards.
• Represent the Reporting & Analytics stream at Design Authority and BCOE leadership forums.

Your team

You will join the SAP Transformation team, working closely with Group Finance, Finance Domain Leads, Design Authority, Data & Integration Architecture, and Testing, Deployment and Change teams.
You will operate in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, influencing across business and technology functions, and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and successful delivery at scale.

Your expertise

• 12–16 years of SAP experience, with ideally 6 or more years focused on SAP reporting and analytics.
• experience delivering at least two full-cycle for SAP Finance reporting implementations.
• expert knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, including InfoProviders (ADSO, CompositeProvider, Open ODS View), Transformations, DTPs, BEx Query Designer, extraction from ECC and S/4HANA (ODP, CDS-based extractors), embedded BW on S/4HANA
• strong knowledge of SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud), including Data Product modelling and consumption, Datasphere integration patterns, harmonization of Finance data products for cross-application and downstream consumption.
• expert experience with SAP AO (Analysis for Office), including BEx and BICS connections, workbook design and governance, variable handling, formula-based exception reporting, version control and distribution standards.
• expert knowledge of SAP SAC (Analytics Cloud), dashboard design, planning models and multi-actions, currency conversion logic, role-based content distribution, embedded analytics within Fiori.
• experience in Governance & Controls, including Reporting authorization design aligned to SoD, audit trail and data retention requirements, change control across DEV/QA/PRD.
• banking or financial services domain experience strongly preferred.
