Your role

Are you expert in assessing the Credit risk? are you good with due diligence activities?
We’re looking for a GWM Credit Risk Officer to:
•assess and approve credit requests originated out of the GWM APAC Structured Credit portfolio.
•ensure credit risk underwriting frameworks are fit for purpose throughout the due diligence process.
•contribute to written credit memos for senior management.
•review Structured credit documentation so that transaction risks are identified and appropriately covered

Your team

You’ll be working in the GWM Credit Risk Control team in India and play a vital role in independently reviewing and monitoring transaction risks within the GWM APAC Structured credit loan portfolio.

As a credit risk officer, you’ll serve as second line of defense and challenge all credit risks associated with the origination, distribution and retained portfolios of Structured credit transactions.

Your expertise

•bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative subject
•proven experience in credit risk analysis, particularly in the GWM Structured Credit Lombard space or focusing on Corporate credit within a top tier banking institution or a ratings agency
•proficiency in basic accounting concepts (like cash flow modelling) preferable
•strong analytical skills, with good attention to detail
•confident communicator and collaborator
•you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
