Your role
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and keen to build your administrative career in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a motivated Team Assistant to provide day-to-day support to our Global Markets team in Sydney. This is a junior role with exposure to a trading floor environment, offering the opportunity to learn from and work closely with a Senior Executive Assistant. You will support a large and dynamic team, gaining broad experience across administrative processes and stakeholder coordination.
You will:
• Help manage travel arrangements and support expense processing and reconciliation
• Support diary management, including scheduling meetings, conference calls, and internal team events
• Assist with coordinating client events, roadshows, and investor lunches
• Assist with invoice processing, including brokerage and general expense-related administration
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including access requests, IT coordination, and office setup
• Provide general administrative support to the team, including document preparation and presentation formatting
• Assist with organising team meetings and coordinating with offshore colleagues
• Support the coordination of internal Global Markets ANZ events
• Act as a point of contact for general administrative queries within the team
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Executive Assistant as required

Your team
You will be part of a small team supporting the Global Markets business in Australia, working closely with a Senior Executive Assistant. Together, you will provide administrative support across the business ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the team.
Your expertise
• 1–2 years of administrative experience (financial services experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Concur Travel Management is a plus but not required
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
