Your role
We are seeking a Client Service Core Specialist based in Hong Kong to provide dedicated coverage for institutional clients across Hong Kong SAR and APAC regionI. The role focuses on delivering a consistently high-quality client experience, client communication, managing client request and complaints as well as ensuring adherence to global client service. You will partner closely with Sales/Client Coverage and key stakeholders to identify potential risks, align expectations and support sustainable business growth.
Provide day-to-day client service coverage for institutional clients across Hong Kong SAR and North Asia, ensuring timely and accurate responses and proactive follow-up
• Coordinate with global Client Service and Operations partners to ensure smooth front-to-back (F2B) processing, clear handovers and consistent service delivery
• Coordinate onboarding for new clients and mandates, validating feasibility, timelines, data and operating model requirements, and operational readiness prior to commitments being made
• Identify potential risks and constraints (e.g., reporting requirements, cut-off times, legal/regulatory considerations, operational complexity), propose solutions and align expectations with Sales/Client Coverage and internal stakeholders
• Drive adherence to global client service and and front-to-back (F2B) processes, controls and documentation standards; escalate exceptions and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Portfolio teams to resolve issues, support client requests and ensure a consistent client experience
• Maintain appropriate tracking of onboarding and service delivery milestones, providing clear status updates and managing stakeholder communications

You are part of a collaborative, multi-jurisdictional cross-functional team that works closely with sales, client relationship managers, and other key stakeholders. This team-oriented environment benefits from open communication and strong working relationships across departments and regions. Together we ensure that institutional clients across Hong Kong SAR and North Asia have a good client experience. You will collaborate with global service and operations partners as required to ensure consistent front-to-back execution and a high-quality client experience.
Your expertise
• Relevant experience, minimum 5 years, in institutional client service, implementation, middle office or client operations (asset management preferred). Strong process discipline with the ability to follow global standards, maintain documentation and escalate appropriately.
• Ability to partner with Sales/Client Coverage and challenge timelines or commitments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable coordinating globally and across APAC region, functions and time zones.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues early and drive practical resolutions.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), with strong written communication skills; any additional Asian language is an advantage.
• Degree in finance, economics or similar discipline or any other education combined with relevant experience.
