Your role

Do you enjoy solving problems and turning data into meaningful insights? Are you interested in banking, financial markets, and business intelligence?

As an Intern in the Group Treasury Rapid Model Development (RMD) team, you will support the development of reporting and visualization solutions for Treasury. Working with large datasets and modern technologies, you will help create dashboards, automate processes, and deliver insights that support liquidity and funding management across UBS.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, cloud technologies, and data analytics, while gaining exposure to Treasury processes and financial modelling within a global banking environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to solutions used across Treasury.

Your team

You will join the Group Treasury Rapid Model Development (RMD) team based in Krakow. By combining expertise in finance, technology, and data, RMD transforms complex information into actionable insights. Leveraging modern technologies, the team drives efficiency, transparency, and better decision-making across Treasury.

As part of the team, you will gain first-hand experience of how analytical products are developed and delivered in one of the world's leading financial institutions. The team works in a flexible hybrid model, with a mix of on-site and remote working arrangements.

Your expertise

You have:
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly;
- good organization and time-management skills.

You are:
- curious, proactive, and interested in data analytics and visualization;
- able to find practical solutions when working with incomplete or complex data;
- team-oriented and keen to work with a diverse set of stakeholders;
- eager to learn Power BI, Power Query, and DAX;
- comfortable working with large datasets; knowledge of SQL and/or Python is an advantage;
- fluent in English, both written and spoken.
