Your role

Do you have a proven track record of delivering value-added solutions in complex risk environments?
Are you up to date with industry, regulatory and audit methodology developments?
We’re looking for an Audit Expert to:
• perform audits across business areas and deliver practical, risk-based and value-adding solutions
• assess the Brazil Bank business, including strategy, governance and regulatory requirements
• evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls across key risk areas
• conduct annual and continuous risk assessments in line with evolving risk profiles
• communicate clear audit outcomes and drive actionable, sustainable recommendations
• collaborate across audit teams and partner with stakeholders to enhance risk management

Your team

You’ll be part of our Global Internal Audit team in Brazil, providing independent assurance over governance, risk management and control processes across the franchise.
We support senior management by identifying emerging risks and helping strengthen the control environment in a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
As an Audit Expert, you’ll play an important role in assessing complex risk areas, delivering meaningful insights and partnering with stakeholders to safeguard and enhance the business.

Your expertise

• solid experience in internal audit or risk management, ideally 5–8 years within financial services with strong knowledge of banking activities, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements in Brazil
• proven ability to assess risks and deliver practical, value-added audit outcomes
• experience in performing risk assessments and evaluating control effectiveness
• proactive approach to staying current with industry, regulatory and audit developments
• strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a high level of attention to detail, combined with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven capacity to influence outcomes
• degree or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g. CIA, CPA) are a plus
• fluent Portuguese and solid English skills
• availability to work on-site in Sao Paulo's office 3x/week.
